Against all odds and during a global pandemic, we successfully launched the most important Volkswagen since the Beetle, the all-electric ID.4 SUV, completely online.

 
 

Brief

Create an end -to-end buying experience for the VW ID.4 that also lays the foundation for how all future Volkswagens are bought and sold.

ROLE

Working alongside Lee Groh and James Pinkerton, I led the team from a copy perspective–ensuring we created a system of language that kept users informed, engaged and excited.

 

humble brags: ID.4 Launch

  • I’m now best friends with the electric engine expert at VW…or at least I think so.

  • I created a completely custom digital quiz with UX designers, coders, and a bunch of other amazing people who are way smarter than me but (luckily) don’t have the same penchant for pithy CTA’s.

  • I launched VW’s newest car from my parents living room. That’s either super cool or super lame depending on if you’re my parents or not.
